A stegosaurus stands among low plants with its mouth open and its head turned to the side. Two rows of broad kite shaped plates run along its back, the tail carries a line of smaller spines, and a scatter of round spots marks its flank. Grasses, seedlings and small leafy clumps grow across the bottom of the page, and the rest is left white.
The plates are the fun part and the reason to reach for this page. There are ten of them along the back, each one a clean closed shape, and treating them as a gradient from front to back looks better than any single tone does.
Line weight is heavy and the shapes are open, so ages four to eight will manage comfortably with crayons.
Those plates were probably not armor. They are thin, riddled with blood vessels, and set in the skin rather than joined to the skeleton, which points toward display or heat control instead of defense.
