Two Cats Playing Together In A Garden Coloring Page

Two cats meet paw to paw between tulips and daisies. Light lines and simple shapes make a good first coloring page.

Two cats face each other in a garden with their front paws touching, both up on their haunches, tails curled behind them. Tulips on tall stems lean in from the left, a pair of round daisies stands to the right, and a few tiny petals float between the two animals. The line weight is light throughout and most of the page is white.

There is very little detail to lose here, which is why it works as a first coloring page. Children of three and up can manage the large body shapes, and the flowers give a slightly older child something more precise to aim at.

Making the two cats different colors is the obvious move, and it works. A ginger cat beside a gray one reads instantly as two characters rather than one animal drawn twice.

Cats that touch paws and press their faces close are not fighting. Rough play between familiar cats stays quiet, with claws in and mouths mostly closed, exactly as drawn here.
