Kitten Nestled In A Basket Of Flowers Coloring Page

Only the top half of this kitten is showing. It has climbed into a picnic basket and looks straight out over the rim, front paws hooked across the edge, ears up, with a tuft of fur standing off the top of its head. The eyes are large and round with bright highlights left white inside them, which is what gives the face its friendly look.

Flowers crowd in from both sides. Each is a simple five petal bloom on a slender stem, and there are buds and long leaves mixed among them near the base. The basket is woven in a checkered pattern, and a tall arched handle curves over the whole scene like a frame. Tufts of grass grow at the bottom.

There is a lot to do here without much difficulty. That checkerboard rewards two alternating tones, and the blooms can each be given a different shade so the border reads as a mix rather than a block. Keep the animal pale against the darker weave if you want its face to stay the first thing anyone notices.
