Red Admiral Butterfly with Bold Wing Colors Coloring Page
Banded wings and a beaded edge sit above a large stippled flower on this simple butterfly page with room to work.

The butterfly here spreads its wings across the top two thirds of the sheet. Bands run lengthwise through each forewing and a line of small beads follows the leading edge out to the tip. The hindwings widen into deep scallops filled with rays that spread from the body toward the rim, and a thick segmented abdomen hangs below. Underneath, one large bloom opens on a tall stem with a heavily stippled middle, while smaller flowers, a bud and several long leaves fill the bottom corners.
Shapes are generous throughout, so this page moves quickly once you settle on a scheme.
Those lengthwise bands are the feature to lean on. Alternate two colors along them and the wing gains stripes without any extra line work. For the big flower, try coloring the stippled middle darker than the petals rather than lighter. It reverses the usual instinct and gives the bloom a weight that holds up against the butterfly above it.
