Clouded Yellow Butterfly in Flight Coloring Page

This butterfly takes up the whole upper half of the sheet and faces straight out at the viewer. Its upper wings sweep wide and high, the lower pair rounds off beneath them, and a few long vein lines are all that break up the surface. A striped body runs down the middle, two dotted eyes sit on a round head, and the antennae finish in small knobs. Thin legs curl underneath like a pair of hooks. Lower down, three daisies stand on straight stems, each with a ring of rounded petals around a plain middle and one or two small leaves partway down.

Almost every shape here is big enough to fill with a single stroke, which makes it a good first sheet for a child still learning to stay inside a line.

Try giving the two upper wings one color and the two lower wings another, then repeat the upper color in the flower petals. That small echo ties the top of the page to the bottom without any extra detail.
