Axolotl Waving Hello Coloring Page

One arm shoots up and out on this sheet, hand open with all five fingers spread wide in an unmistakable wave. The raised limb crosses in front of the gills on that side, so a few stalks disappear behind it while the opposite side fans out fully with four branching prongs. It is a small bit of overlap but it gives the pose real depth.

The face is turned straight at you, eyes large and glossy with highlights left clear, mouth stretched into a broad grin. Below, the body swells into a rounded torso balanced on two short legs, and a long tail sweeps out to the right before tapering to a fine point near the edge of the drawing.

This one is about the gesture, so do not overcomplicate it. A single flat body color with a slightly deeper tone along the underside of the raised arm is enough to make the wave pop forward. The fingers are thin, so a fine tip helps if you want them separate from the palm. Leaving the generous white space around the figure untouched keeps all the attention on that hello.
