A three tiered pagoda stands in the middle of this page, seen straight on. Each tier carries a wide sweeping roof with upturned corners, ruled with close parallel lines for the tiles and edged with a row of small brackets underneath. Between the roofs run bands of railing and panelled doors, and a tall finial rises from the top roof as a stack of rings narrowing to a point.

At ground level a set of double doors stands closed behind a low balustrade, and a broad flight of stone steps runs down toward you, each tread drawn separately. Below that the path spreads out into irregular flagstones.

Cherry branches fill both sides of the sheet from top to bottom, heavy with open five petal blossoms, buds and small leaves, and they arch inward over the roofs. Larger single blooms cluster at the lower corners around rocks and a stone lantern.

Spiral ornaments sit in the top corners and a few soft clouds drift behind the roofline. This is one of the densest pages here, and the steps and roofs give you long straight runs to balance all that blossom.
