Sugar Skull With Swirling Paisley Patterns Coloring Page

Paisley takes over this skull completely. Teardrop shapes and tight curls cover the whole cranium, sweeping out from a central flourish above the brow and spilling down past the temples toward the jaw. Each curl is drawn as an open outline, and the shapes nest inside one another so that filling one leads you straight into the next. Both eye sockets stay open and round, each ringed by a band of short strokes. The nose is a long heart and the teeth run in one boxed row, framed below by more scrollwork that curls up from the chin. This is the most intricate sheet in the collection and it is squarely an adult page. Expect an hour or more if you color every cell separately. Two approaches work. Use a single color family across the whole cranium and vary only the depth, which keeps the pattern readable, or treat every teardrop as its own small decision and let the page become a sampler. Both look right. What does not work is mixing the two halfway through, because the eye reads the change as a mistake.
