Simple Sugar Skull Coloring Page

Three large daisies sit in a row across the top of this calavera, the middle one bigger than the two beside it. Below them both eye sockets are drawn as wide open circles ringed by a band of small scallops, and the inside of each socket is left completely white. A rounded heart marks the nose, curling flourishes sit on the cheeks, and the mouth runs as a long row of square teeth with a soft wavy line above them. Small dots and petal shapes fill the gaps so nothing on the face feels empty. This is the plainest sugar skull in the collection and it is the one to hand a younger child. The shapes are large, the outlines are thick, and there is nothing fiddly anywhere on the page. Daisies take any shade you like. Pick three different colors for the three blooms and repeat the center one on the nose, which pulls the top of the face down into the bottom half. The scalloped rings around the sockets reward a fine tip pen if you have one, but a plain wash over each ring works just as well.
