Henna Fish Design With Scale And Wave Patterns Coloring Page
An ornamental fish with spiral scales, a plumed dorsal fin and a diamond mesh tail, floating among hanging pendants and loose curls.

Every scale on this fish is a spiral. They run in neat diagonal rows from the gill plate back to the tail, curling the same direction throughout, and a beaded stripe edges the body along both the top and the bottom to hold them in.
The head is simple by comparison, which keeps the face readable: a slightly open mouth, one round lashed eye, and a small raised brow. The gill plate is marked off by a curved line of beads with a fringe of scallops behind it.
The fins are where the design turns ornamental. The dorsal stands up as a tall plume of pointed fronds rather than the usual spines. The tail fans out and is filled with a diamond mesh. The lower fins trail away like loose ribbons.
Floating around the fish, and not attached to it, are henna motifs on their own: a lamp shaped pendant hanging below the belly, a small flower on a stalk above the head, and scattered curls and bubbles.
Those free floating pieces are an invitation. Color them in a single accent shade that appears nowhere on the fish and they read as a deliberate frame. Match them to the scales instead and the whole page becomes one continuous pattern.
