An orb web takes up almost the entire sheet. It hangs from one thread at the top and spreads into a wide fan of spokes, with the spiral rings crossing them in long even curves. Near the hub the rings pack tight. Out at the rim they open up and the cells get big enough to color individually, which is what makes this one work as a page rather than as a texture.
Dew beads sit along the strands, some round and plain, some larger and drawn with a curved line across them. They run heaviest down the vertical middle.
No spider appears anywhere. The web is the subject on its own.
Flowers push in from the left and the bottom, wide open faces with stippled middles and long curling leaves, and two small moths rest against the right edge.
Try coloring the web itself very lightly, or not at all. Left white it reads as morning light, which is the whole idea of the picture.
The cells are where the real decision sits. Ring by ring in graded tones gives you a target pattern. Scattered at random gives you stained glass. Neither choice is wrong, and the two finished sheets end up resembling each other not at all.
