Flowers rise out of a grass bed along the bottom of this page and stop about halfway up. The biggest is a wide cosmos on a straight stem, eight petals around a center packed with tiny radiating marks. Around it sit smaller blooms, a few tight buds still closed on their stalks, and long grass blades that cut between everything at sharp angles.
Two bees hover in the empty space above. Both are drawn plump, with banded bodies and wings held out wide, and one carries a tiny pair of antennae curling over its eyes.
Two of the lower daisies have solid black centers. They print that way on purpose and there is no white left inside them, so plan around those two rather than trying to color them.
Everything else is wide open. The petals are large, the shapes are closed, and the lines are thick enough for a crayon held in a fist.
The empty upper half is the part worth protecting. Leave it white and the bees look like they are flying. Fill it with sky and the whole page flattens out, which is a trade worth making deliberately rather than by accident.
