Cartoon Owl Wearing A Knitted Scarf Coloring Page

An owl faces straight out of the page with two enormous round eyes and a small triangular beak between them. Its ear tufts point up at sharp angles and its wings hang at its sides as two long closed shapes. The scarf is the reason this bird belongs in November. It wraps twice around the neck, crosses over the chest on the diagonal and drops below the body, and the whole length of it is ruled into narrow bands, which gives you somewhere between thirty and forty small stripes to fill. Alternating two colors down the scarf is the obvious choice and it looks good, but running a slow gradient from one end to the other looks better and takes no more effort. Below the scarf two scaly feet grip a thin branch that stretches right across the sheet and finishes in a few small buds. The body of the bird is left almost entirely plain, with only a single short line on each wing, so there is room to invent feather markings if the owl feels too empty once the scarf is done. The eyes carry solid black pupils already, which means the face needs nothing from you at all.
