Cartoon Beaver Sitting On A Log Coloring Page

A beaver sits square on a long log, front paws held up in front of its chest and both back feet planted on the wood. Its face carries two round eyes, a broad dark nose, three whiskers on each cheek and the pair of big square front teeth that make the animal recognizable at a glance. The tail is the feature worth planning for. It hangs down the left side of the log as a wide paddle, and a diagonal grid is ruled across it, which breaks the surface into a few dozen diamonds. Color those diamonds in two alternating tones and the tail stops being a flat shape and starts reading as leather. The log runs the full width of the sheet with a ring of growth circles at each end and a few long grain lines along its side, so it is quick to fill and makes a solid base for the animal. Beavers spend the last mild weeks stocking their lodges, which is what puts this sheet in a November collection. Two tiny tufts of grass sit under the log and are the only small details on an otherwise generous page, so crayons work here as well as pencils do.
