Hay Bale With A Pitchfork Coloring Page

A round hay bale sits end on in the middle of this page with a pitchfork standing upright to its right. The face of the bale is drawn as a spiral winding outward from the center, crossed by short straight lines that show where the hay is packed. A band runs around the outer edge. Grass and loose straws lie on the ground at its base. That spiral is what makes this page different from everything else here. It is one continuous line, and following it from the center outward with a pencil tip is oddly satisfying. Color alternate turns of the spiral in two tones and the bale looks genuinely rolled rather than drawn. The pitchfork is a simple shape with a long handle and four tines, and it finishes quickly. Hay bales appear in fields the moment the cutting is done and sit there for weeks, so they belong to this season as much as pumpkins do. Print this one beside the barn page and the market stall page to build a small farm set.
