Girl Picking Apples From A Tree Coloring Page

A girl reaches up toward an apple tree on this page with one apple already in her hand. She wears dungarees over a long sleeved top, with boots on her feet and her hair falling to her shoulders. The tree stands to her right with a thick trunk and a full round crown, and eight apples hang among its leaves. Tufts of grass sit along the ground between them. Having the girl and the tree side by side rather than overlapping keeps both shapes clean. A child can color one, stop, and come back to the other later without losing their place. That matters more than it sounds for younger colorists who rarely finish a page in one sitting. The apples are the quick reward here. Eight small circles fill in fast and the page immediately looks further along than it is. The crown of the tree takes longer. Work it in two greens rather than one and the leaves separate properly. Print this one before apple picking season and again after, and compare the two.
