Basket Of Apples Coloring Page

Three apples rest in a round woven basket, each one topped with a short stalk and a small leaf. The basket carries a tall arching handle and a dense weave across its front, drawn as crossing bands that read clearly without becoming fussy. The weave is the interesting part of this page. It gives an older child something to work on while the apples stay simple enough for a younger sibling to finish quickly. Two people can share one printout and both feel the page was made for them. Apples turn this into a harvest page rather than a plain still life. Color them red, green, or a mix, and the basket in any shade of brown. Anyone who wants a challenge can alternate light and dark bands through the weave to make the basket look three dimensional. The outlines are heavy throughout, so markers will not bleed across them and crayons will not wander. Print this one before an apple picking trip and let the finished page sit on the kitchen table when the real fruit comes home.
