Teddy Bear Reading A Bedtime Story Coloring Page

A teddy bear has settled back against a pillow with a book open in both paws, held up at exactly the angle a child holds one. The drawing is about as simple as this site gets. The bear is built from seven or eight rounded shapes, the ears are plain circles with an inner curve, the muzzle is a single oval with a stitched nose and a short smile, and the two foot pads are large blank ovals carrying three toe dots each. Only the edges of the ears and the tops of the feet have any fur texture at all. The book is held open toward you with a clean spine and a few page lines, and it is the one element with a hard straight edge, which makes it the natural spot for the strongest color. The pillow behind the bear slumps into soft folds. Nothing else appears on the page except a four pointed star and a small circle floating in the space above, so there is no background to plan and a child can begin anywhere without thinking about it.
