An enormous teddy bear sits facing you, and a small girl leans in from the right with both arms wrapped around its neck. Her eyes are closed, her mouth is curved into a wide contented smile, and her cheek is pressed against the bear's chest.
The bear is easily three times her size. Its whole outline, from the ears down around the body, is drawn as a soft scalloped edge with hundreds of tiny bumps to suggest plush fur, while the inside is left completely bare. Two small round eyes and an oval muzzle sit high on the face, and a single curved seam runs across the belly. Both back paws stick out at the bottom with a large plain oval on each sole, and two little toe circles on one of them.
The girl wears a short pleated skirt and a top with cuffed sleeves, and her hair is cut in a straight fringe with a small tie at the back. There is no background at all, no floor and no shadow, so the pair float on bare paper. Almost every shape here is large and simple, which makes it one of the quickest pages in the set to finish.
