Comet Blazing Across The Starry Night Sky Coloring Page

The comet on this sheet runs corner to corner. Its head sits high on the right as a thick ring of rock with craters pitted around the rim and an open hollow at the center, and from there the tail sweeps all the way down to the bottom left, tapering to a point at the very edge of the paper. The tail is not one solid shape. It is built from long parallel bands laid one inside the other, with small oval pebbles scattered along their length, so it can be treated as stripes, as a gradient, or left white to read as ice. Around it the sky is open paper rather than solid black, which keeps the ink light enough to print on any home printer. Stars are scattered across it in several shapes: five pointed, four pointed, and plain small circles. A ringed planet sits low on the right with its ring drawn as a clean ellipse passing behind the globe, and a larger bare circle balances it near the top left.
