Reading Nook With Stuffed Animals And Stacked Books Coloring Page

This is a nook built out of books. A heavy curtain is drawn back on both sides and swags across the top, the wall behind it is paneled into vertical boards, and in front of that the books are piled into a staircase four levels high. Five teddy bears are arranged along the pile, a large one sitting at the left, one perched at the top right, and three smaller ones tucked into the steps between them. Every shape here is big and closed, the outlines are thick, and no interior detail has been drawn at all beyond eyes and muzzles, so a young child can finish the page with crayons in a few minutes. The stacked books are the obvious place to have fun: give every single one a different color, treat the spines as stripes, and the pile becomes the brightest thing in the picture. Keep the curtain and the wall panels to one quiet tone each so the bears stay visible against them. Folded blankets at the base of the stack are the only soft shapes on an otherwise very square page.
