Reading In A Treehouse Library Coloring Page

A girl sits reading on a low stool at the right of this page inside a library built into a tree. She holds an open book up in front of her, her hair falls forward over one shoulder, and she is barefoot with one leg tucked under her.

Behind her the whole back wall is shelving, four deep rows packed tight with upright volumes, every spine left completely blank. A small potted plant sits in a gap on the top shelf. The shelves are framed by a pitched roof beam that meets in a peak overhead.

Two enormous tree trunks rise on either side, drawn with long flowing bark lines, and their branches arch across the top of the sheet carrying leaves, small five petal flowers and hanging lanterns. Two patterned banners with fringed lower edges hang from the branches.

At the left stands a deep armchair with a star marked cushion, and beside it a barrel holding a stack of books with a pen pushed in among them. Roses and broad leaves crowd the lower corners, and loose petals lie scattered on the floor.
