An A-frame swing set takes up the middle of this sheet, its crossbar carrying four hangers and two seats. Two children sit side by side, each gripping the chain above their head with both hands, legs hanging straight down, both of them smiling out at you. One has a small ponytail. A spare seat hangs empty to their right. There is no ground drawn and no background at all, so the whole frame floats on white.

Be aware the swings hang straight rather than caught at the top of an arc, so this reads as a quiet moment rather than the rush the title suggests. For a lot of young children that is easier to color anyway.

The frame is long and mostly straight lines, which makes it a good sheet for a child practicing control with a ruler edge or a fine marker.

Here is something to try afterward. A swing is a pendulum, and how long it takes to go out and back depends on the length of the chain and almost nothing else. Two children of very different weights on the same length of chain will swing in step.
