Three girls stand in a line across the middle of this sheet, each one turning a hoop at her waist. The girl in the center is drawn largest and faces straight out, her hair falling in loose curls and her skirt flaring as she twists. Her companion on one side tilts her head down, arms swept out behind and hair blown sideways. The third wears her hair gathered high in a ponytail and reaches a hand back toward the middle. Under their feet a few soft curved lines stand in for the ground.

Above the group hangs a pointed ornament strung with beads, with a small star set to either side of it. Everything sits within a tall oval built from curling vine work, and beyond that four large open blooms fill the corners with a fifth at the bottom edge.

Three dresses and three hoops give you a natural place to repeat a scheme, so try the same trio of shades in a different order on each figure. That vine frame is drawn in fine curls and will swallow a thick marker, so keep a sharp pencil for it. Leaving the ground plain stops the figures sinking into the border.
