A child stands on the high end of a seesaw plank with knees bent and both arms held forward for balance. Her hair is tied back with a small bow and she is concentrating hard, mouth set in a half smile. The plank rests across a solid trapezoid block with a single bolt through the top, and a thin line of ground runs underneath it. The far end of the board tips down and sits empty.
That empty end is the most interesting thing on the page, and it is worth pointing out to a child before they start. The title promises company that the drawing never delivers, so this is an open invitation to draw a friend onto the low end and finish the scene yourself.
As a coloring sheet it is one of the simplest here. Six or seven large areas, no overlap, nothing small.
A seesaw is a lever, and the block underneath is the fulcrum. If two children of different sizes want it to balance, the lighter one slides further out toward the end. Working out where to sit is most of the fun.
