Ice Cream Truck Coloring Page

A giant ice cream cone is fixed to the roof of this truck, tipped on its side so it reads clearly from the street, and it is easily the biggest single shape on the page. The truck is drawn from the front corner, which means the grille, both round headlights, the windshield and the long service window on the side are all visible at once. A scalloped awning runs above that window, and behind the glass is a tray of wrapped treats waiting to be handed out.

The shapes fall into two obvious groups. Large panels, meaning the roof, the doors and the body side, can be covered fast with any medium. Then come the small repeated pieces, the awning scallops, the grille slots, the wrapped treats and the rings inside each wheel, which all reward a sharper tool.

There is a lot of white paper around the vehicle and no road underneath it, so the truck floats. Some children add a street and a line of customers before they start filling anything in, and the sheet has been left with room for exactly that.
