Polka Dot Heart Coloring Page

Open circles of every size scatter across this double outlined heart. Color the dots or color around them, and the sheet reads two ways.

Open circles of every size fill this heart, scattered rather than lined up, with a couple of loose swirls curling near the point at the bottom. The heart carries a double outline, which leaves a narrow channel you can run right around the outside as a border. There is no order to the dots at all, and that is the appeal. Nothing has to line up, nothing has to match, and a child who frets about staying tidy can relax and fill them in whatever order they like. The circles range from large enough for a crayon down to small enough to need a sharpened pencil, so one sheet covers a spread of ages sitting at the same table. A good trick is to fill the dots and leave the space between them white, which makes the heart look like it is floating. The opposite works just as well. Color the background and leave every circle blank, and the dots read as holes punched clean through the page.
