Fluffy Sheep Standing In The Grass Coloring Page

Seen strictly from the side, this sheep is built from two rounded masses and very little else. The fleece is one enormous cloud outline with soft bumps running along its back and underside, and inside it there is nothing at all, which leaves the largest unbroken area of any page in this group. A second smaller cloud sits on top of the head like a cap. Its face is kept deliberately bare: one round eye, a small nose at the tip of the muzzle and one short curved line for a mouth, with clean paper on either side and no tone anywhere across the cheek. One ear hangs down where the head meets the fleece. Four straight legs drop from the body, each finished with a small hoof, and a little tail shows at the back. The sheep stands on a shallow oval that reads as a patch of ground rather than a landscape. Because the fleece is so open it takes anything from a flat cream to a pattern of small curls drawn in by hand, and that choice is really the whole activity on this sheet.
