Donkey In A Grassy Field Coloring Page

This donkey faces almost straight toward you and it is drawn to look friendly rather than realistic. The two ears are very tall and narrow, each an outline with a second line inside marking the soft part, and they stand straight up from the top of the head. Between and behind them runs a short bristly mane, drawn as a line of little zigzag spikes rather than flowing hair. Its eyes are large ovals set wide apart, and below them the muzzle balloons out into a big rounded shape with two nostrils and a small curved mouth, which is where most of the character comes from. The body behind is plain and open with a gentle dip in the back. A long thin tail hangs down and finishes in a tuft of strands. All four legs are straight and slim with pale hooves at the bottom. Scattered along the ground are eight or nine small grass tufts, each just a few pointed blades, with wide gaps between them so they never turn into a solid band. Nothing else appears anywhere on the sheet.
