Child Blowing Out Birthday Candles And Making A Wish Coloring Page

A child fills the upper two thirds of this page, leaning forward over a cake with their lips pursed into a small round shape, caught in the moment just before blowing. The face is drawn large and simple: two big oval eyes with solid centers and a pair of highlight dots in each, short curved lashes, fine arched brows, and a small rounded nose.

The hair is short and swept across the forehead in a few long strokes, with a tuft sticking up at the crown and one ear showing on the right. The shoulders and one arm come into frame at the bottom right, resting on the table.

In front sits the cake. Five candles stand in a row across the top, each one ruled with diagonal stripes like a barber pole and topped with a plain teardrop flame. The cake itself is a single round layer with a scalloped frill running around the lower edge and a smooth top.

One straight line marks the table. There is no background beyond it, so the whole page is the child, the cake and open paper, which keeps it quick.
