Birthday Banner With Balloons And Streamers Coloring Page

A wide banner stretches across the upper part of this page, dipping slightly in the middle the way a strip of paper would if it were pinned at both ends. The greeting is spelled out in large hollow block capitals with rounded corners, the first word arching above the banner and the second running along the banner itself, so there are two rows of letters to work through.

Every letter is drawn as a closed outline with nothing filled in, which makes the lettering the most satisfying part of the page: each one is its own compartment and they are all roughly the same size.

At each end of the banner a cluster of balloons is bunched together, three on the left and three on the right, each a smooth oval with a small pinched neck and a single curved highlight. Two long wavy strings trail down from the ends of the banner and hang most of the way to the bottom of the sheet.

Everything below those strings is bare paper. The line weight is thick and even throughout and nothing is shaded, so this works as a first page for a small child.
