The flying pose here is the classic one, but the robot commits to it completely. Both arms are punched up above its shoulders with the fists closed, the body is tipped forward as though it is coming straight toward the reader, and the cape flares out in two broad points behind it. The cape is a single uncluttered shape on each side, which is the largest open area on the sheet and the obvious place to put a bold block of color.

The robot is small and boxy: a square head with a soft curve to the corners, one antenna with a ball on top, two big round eyes with highlights and a short curved smile. Its arms are ribbed tubes with a band at each wrist. The torso is a plain box with a single rectangular panel, and two small pointed feet trail below.

Below and to the left a single outlined cloud marks how high up the robot is, with one small circle floating off to the right. That is the entire background. Leaving the sky empty does two things: it makes the cape read as moving, and it leaves nearly half the sheet free for a child to add their own clouds, birds or city rooftops.
