Anime Chef Girl With Cooking Tools

A young chef stands behind a plain counter in a tall puffy hat with a wide band across the brow, holding a wooden spoon up beside her head as though she has just lifted it out of the bowl. Her hair sits in a straight fringe under the hat band and falls to her jaw on both sides, and her apron is fastened with two shoulder straps and a round button at the bib.

The cooking tools are all present and all easy to reach: a spoon with a fat oval head, a deep mixing bowl resting at her elbow, and a rolling pin with two turned handles laid flat on the counter in front of her. The counter itself is a single straight line running the full width of the page with a plain front panel below it.

Behind her there is nothing at all, which is the point. The first version of this page put a patterned wallpaper behind the figure that printed as a gray haze. Here the white is left alone, so the hat, the apron and the wooden tools have room to stand out. Warm timber tones on the spoon and pin and a single bright shade on the apron will carry the whole sheet.
