The frog on this sheet is a shape to decorate rather than an animal to copy. Seen from directly above, its head and back carry bands of swirls, rows of small circles and columns of pointed leaf shapes, and each folded back leg holds its own crowd of tiny teardrops. Nothing is shaded, so every one of those small shapes is yours to fill or leave white. One large plain oval sits in the middle of the back and gives the eye somewhere to rest, which stops the page becoming noise. Treat it the way you would treat a zentangle. Pick three or four colors, assign one to each kind of shape, and repeat those assignments across the whole body so the pattern holds together instead of scattering. The outer outline stays bold and simple underneath all that detail, so the animal still reads as a frog from across the room. This is the most detailed sheet in the frog collection and the one that suits fine tip pens best. A marker will bleed the smaller shapes into each other. Print it single sided so nothing shows through.
