A bear head and shoulders fill this portrait, close enough that the fur is drawn strand by strand rather than as a solid mass. It is the most demanding sheet in the collection and the one aimed squarely at adults, because the whole face is texture and there is almost no flat area to rest in. Work outward from the nose and follow the direction the strands already run, and the coat will read as fur rather than as scribble. A blending pencil helps here more than a marker will.
