Witch Stirring A Bubbling Cauldron Coloring Page

A witch stands behind a large round cauldron that takes up most of the lower half of this page. She leans forward over the rim with a long spoon in her right hand, already dipped into the pot, and her left hand rests on the shaft of a broom that lies across the cauldron on a diagonal. The broom head hangs out over the left edge of the paper, drawn as a fan of long straight bristles bound with a collar.

Her hat is the tall pointed kind with a wide floppy brim and a tip that flops over to one side. Straight hair hangs down past her shoulders on both sides, and her face is small and smiling with two dots for eyes.

The cauldron is worth a look before starting. Its belly is dotted with plain circles of several different sizes, so there is a ready made pattern to work with, and a ring of bubbles crowds the surface of whatever is cooking inside. Underneath it sits a loose pile of chunky blocks that read as firewood, with one stray block lying off to the side. Everything on the sheet is one clean outline weight and there is no shading anywhere, which makes this a good first Halloween page for a small child.
