Witch Reading An Ancient Spell Book By Candlelight Coloring Page

A witch kneels on the floor with her robe pooling around her, holding an open book up in front of her in both hands. A second book, larger and much older looking, lies open flat on the ground beside her knees, its pages fanned and its spine banded with ribs. Both sit on top of a third closed volume.

To her right stands a candlestick almost as tall as she is, turned from a series of rounded knobs and discs on a wide circular foot. The candle on top is burning, with a teardrop flame and a short run of wax down one side.

Notice that every page in both books has been left blank. There is no writing anywhere on this sheet, which means the spell is yours to invent and the pages are somewhere to write it. Her robe is cut with wide bell sleeves, and the folds inside the sleeve and along one shoulder are picked out as solid black wedges, so the dark accents are already placed and the rest of the cloth is open. Her hat brim dips low over one eye and her hair hangs forward in long straight lengths.
