Friendly Witch Sitting With A Black Cat Coloring Page

A young witch sits on the ground with her knees drawn up, and her cat sits upright beside her on the right. She is smiling, with a round face, a small button nose and hair that spills out from under her hat in long wavy strands. Her hat leans back at an angle, wide brimmed with a band around the crown and a tip that curls over and hangs down behind her.

Her dress falls in a wide bell to the floor, gathered at the neck by a small scarf, and her sleeves stop at the elbow. Two boots poke out at the bottom with a row of criss cross lacing marked on each one.

The cat is the part to plan first. It is described as a black cat, but it is drawn as a clean empty outline with nothing filled in, so the inside is yours to decide. Its ears stand up in sharp triangles with short fur strokes hatched inside them, four long whiskers sweep out from each cheek, and a tail curves up behind it and finishes in a little hook. Both figures sit on bare paper with no ground line, no moon and no background at all, which keeps the count of separate shapes very low.
