Circle Of Witches Dancing In An Autumn Forest Coloring Page

Seven figures in pointed hats have linked hands in a ring, and several have thrown their arms up, so the whole group reads as mid step. A lantern hangs above the center of the circle on a long chain with beads and drops strung from it, and the ground inside the ring is marked with faint lines running between the dancers. Around them the forest is a stand of old trunks, and the bark is the most demanding part of the page: long wandering grain lines run the full height of the sheet on both sides, broken up by knots and hollows. Bare branches reach across the top with a scattering of leaves and a few sunflowers caught among them. Pumpkins sit at intervals around the ring, and the bottom edge is a thick band of leaves, blooms and vines. Give each dancer a different dress color so the ring does not merge into one mass, keep the trunks in muted browns and grays, and let the pumpkins and the lantern carry the only bright warm tones. Doing the leaves last, in reds and golds, pulls the whole page together.
