Young Child In A Homemade Cape Flying Pose Coloring Page

No costume here beyond the essentials. A boy stands with his arms stretched straight out to either side, feet apart in laced sneakers, wearing a plain tee shirt and shorts. The only hero parts are the mask across his eyes and a cape knotted at his neck, which lifts and flares away to one side. He is grinning widely and the page around him is completely bare.

Worth knowing before you print: he has his feet on the ground rather than in the air, and the mask arrives already filled in solid black, so that one decision has been made for you. Everything else is open line work.

That makes this the right sheet for a child who gets discouraged by crowded pages. There are perhaps a dozen separate areas to fill, all of them large, and the whole thing can be done with fat crayons.

The cape is the giveaway that this is dress up rather than a real uniform. It is pulled on over ordinary clothes, which is how most capes begin life, usually as a bath towel and a safety pin borrowed without asking.
