Superhero With a Robot Sidekick Coloring Page

Two figures stand shoulder to shoulder facing you. On the right a hero in a mask and cape, one hand resting on his companion's head. On the left a robot that comes up to roughly his chest, built from plain rounded boxes with a single thin antenna rising from the top of its head and ending in a small ball.

The robot is the more interesting half. Its arms are drawn as stacked segments that bend, each hand ends in a small claw, and a large empty panel fills the front of its body. Its face is two round eyes and one short straight mouth, which is as much expression as it needs.

Both chests are blank. The hero's carries a plain circle outline and the robot's carries a rectangle, and neither has anything inside it.

Metal takes color better than people expect. Keeping the robot to grays and blues and letting the hero carry the warm colors separates them instantly, and the segmented arms are worth alternating light and dark segment by segment so the joints read. The two empty panels are the obvious place for anything a child wants to invent, from a control screen to a team symbol.
