Superhero City Coloring Page

The hero on this page is a child in a cape, arms flung wide, flying above the rooftops with two puffy clouds for company. The front of the costume is deliberately empty. No emblem, no letters, no crest. That space belongs to whoever prints the sheet, so draw your own symbol into it before you begin, or leave it white and let the cape do the talking.

The skyline underneath is built from plain rectangles with square windows punched into them. Those windows are the fiddly part and the fun part. You can fill every one the same shade for a quiet evening, or light only a scattered handful to suggest people still awake. The towers themselves take flat color well.

Work from the top down so your hand does not smudge the sky. The cape is the largest single shape here and it sets the mood, so choose its color first and match the boots and the emblem to it. Younger children can stop at the cape and the buildings. Older ones can shade one side of each tower to place the light.
