A boy stands square to you with both fists pushed down onto his hips and both elbows pushed out, which is the pose every child already knows how to do. His weight is even on both feet and he is not going anywhere.
The suit is the whole reason this sheet works. Nothing is printed on the front of it. There is no crest, no letter and no shield, just a wide unbroken area from collar to belt waiting for whoever picks up the crayons. The belt crosses it with one small square buckle, the boots turn over at the ankle with laces drawn in, and the cape falls away on both sides in two long panels.
His mask is an open outline rather than a filled band, so the eyes read clearly through it and both can be colored or left white. The hair is a single swept shape above it.
Work outward from the chest. Decide what goes there first, even if that decision is a plain block of one color, because everything else on the page is trim around it. The cape is the largest area and reads best a shade away from the suit rather than matching it exactly.
