Superhero Blocking An Attack With A Glowing Shield Coloring Page

A young hero has planted himself behind a large round shield and is holding on. The shield is built from concentric rings around a raised center and takes up most of the lower half of the page. His gripping hand shows clearly at the rim, every finger drawn. Above it his masked face is set hard, jaw tight, and his cape flares out to both sides. Short straight lines burst from the air at either side of his head, standing in for whatever has just hit him.

Those rings are the best part of the sheet. They are perfect concentric bands, which means a color scheme that works on a dartboard works here: alternate two shades, or run a gradient from the center out.

The impact lines should stay white. They only read as force against clean paper.

Nothing on the drawing is actually glowing, so if you want the shield lit you will have to suggest it, which usually means keeping the shield pale and the background dark rather than the other way round.

Round shields were strapped at the center and held in a fist, which is why the grip sits where it does here, rather than buckled along the forearm like a kite shield.
