Hero Landing Dramatically From A High Flight Coloring Page
A round-faced little hero hangs in the middle of an almost empty page, arms out and cape lifting, with no ground beneath him.

Almost nothing happens on this page, and that is the whole point. A small round-faced hero hovers near the middle with his arms stretched out, feet together and toes pointed down, cape lifting off to one side. His mask is a simple band and his eyes are two dots. There is no ground under him, no city behind him and no clouds, just a very large expanse of white paper.
For the youngest children that emptiness is a kindness. The shapes are few and enormous, nothing overlaps, and a two or three year old can finish the figure without once being told to slow down.
For anyone older, treat the blank space as the exercise. Draw in whatever he is descending toward, a rooftop, a mountain, a back garden, and the sheet becomes twice the page it started as.
Illustrators often leave this much air around a flying figure on purpose. Space reads as height, and a character placed dead in the middle of nothing looks further off the ground than one drawn beside a building.
