Pirate Swinging From Ship's Rigging Coloring Page

A pirate swings out into the middle of this page, hanging from two heavy chains that drop from a spar across the top. Both fists are closed tight around the links, his arms are stretched wide above his head, and both legs kick forward with the knees bent so the whole figure reads as mid arc.

The chains are drawn link by link, each one an interlocking oval, and they run from the spar down past his hands and on toward the lower corners. The spar itself is bound at intervals with wide collars, and a short rope with a tassel hangs from the middle of it.

He wears a long open coat that flies back behind him, a wide belt with a square buckle, loose breeches gathered at the knee and tall boots with heavy soles. His beard is drawn in long swept strands and a tricorn hat sits firmly on his head.

The corners of the sheet carry large curling flourishes of leaves and flowers, drawn in a noticeably lighter line than the figure, and the lower middle is left open.
