Poppy Wreath With a Ribbon Bow Coloring Page

Around a dozen open poppies and their leaves form a ring on this sheet, tied at the bottom with a ribbon bow whose tails hang down the page. The middle of the wreath is left blank on purpose, so a classroom can cut the ring out and mount it, or a child can write a message of their own in the space. Each flower has wide rounded petals around a ringed center with fine rays, which keeps the detail in the flower heads and leaves the petals wide open. The poppy became a remembrance symbol after the flowers grew across the churned ground of the Western Front, and it still turns up on Veterans Day displays across the country.
