Bald Eagle Perched on a Branch Coloring Page

A cartoon bald eagle sits on a thick branch with its wings folded, seen side on, and its chest is left as a smooth open shape rather than being covered in feather marks. That makes it the easiest eagle in this set and a good first bird for a young child. A ruff around the neck and a few large feather outlines on the folded wing give an older child something to work into. The bald eagle has been the national bird since 1782 and is not actually bald, since the name comes from an old word meaning white headed.
