This is the longest sheet in the set and the one to save for an evening. The rib lines split the pumpkin into tall panels running from stem to base, and each panel carries its own filling: rings of circles nested inside circles, rows of open teardrops, wide spirals unwinding toward the edge, and strings of small circles threaded between them. Every shape is drawn open, so there is something to fill inside all of them rather than a field of solid black. Working panel by panel keeps it manageable. Finish one from top to bottom, then move to its neighbor, and the pumpkin builds up in strips instead of collapsing into a muddle. Limiting the palette helps too. Three or four colors repeated across the panels in a rotation will look considered, where twenty scattered at random will not. The stem at the top is drawn plainly on purpose and gives the eye somewhere to rest. Fine tipped pens hold their edge inside the smaller shapes, and pencils blend well across the wider spirals near the outer panels.
